Great fight for people who like to see Kovalev smash lesser opposition and/or for Canadians who refuse to acknowledge that Pasqual is shot. Garbage fight for the rest of us. That said, I'd much rather see this than kov beating on another poor pizza vendor so, hey, why the hell not?

true he was over the hill yet still beating very solid competition up to that point. As far as the pizza guy... that was pretty ****** and i place that place on the governing body for making him mandatory... don't know how he got there, first time i heard of him (and can't remember his name) was in that fight.

Yea, I don't think it's was Kovalev's fault. It's not usually the fighter's fault. If fighters made these negotiations themselves they wouldn't be paying managers a big chunk of their pay. themselves. Or, in this case, the governing body. The apparent complacency is very frustrating for us as fans though.
