Shortly after his 10th round demolishing of Romulo Koasicha, BoxingScene.com caught up with Vasyl Lomachenko to get his thoughts on the fight.

The fight, which was televised by HBO, was very one sided. Lomachenko showed excellent hand speed and footwork that isn't seen very often. The 27-year old from Ukraine revealed that he watched a lot of former pound-for-pound king Roy Jones Jr. as a kid and that is where part of his style may have came from.

Theres old vid's when he was a kid fighting with his hands down and copying his showboating, his style might not be similar but he was his idol growing up.

Sorry I was being sarcastic about the triple jabs and non existent jab. lol Roy has a reputation for ditching his jab in fights but can pull off the rare triple jab. Loma stays consistent with his jab but he can't throw the triple jab like roy.

Yea, he looks like here tries to mimic Roy at times, though it doesn't seem to come naturally. Loma has pretty orthodox tendencies whereas Roy was just Roy and there'll never be another.
