Wilder can run, but he can't hide in the long run if he wants to keep his paper title.

dont get me wrong but i want the fight...but wat about beating povetkin makes wilder a real champion?? povetkin was the true meaning of a paper champ and then he robbed a cruiser-weight to keep it...at least wilder took his belt from a guy who won it in a fight and defended it with success...
just facts im pointing out here

I'll retract my paper title comment, then. The WBC belt is prestigious. But referring to Wilder as the heavyweight champion of the world (which indeed has been done lately) is comical at best.

Also, it does feel like Wilder wants to avoid Povetkin, just by looking at it. A champ doesn't duck, he fights.

povetkin asked for more time and didnt consider taking a fight aroudn the same time wider took a voluntary..he should have made widler's schedule his...we've seen this happen before..wilder shouldnt have to stay inactive 5 months for the challenger..i think they both want it, but i wouldnt be surprised if wilder fight kilt/fury winner instead of the money is right..
cant call that a duck bc he'd be fightin the man who is the lineal HW champ..if povektin wins the wbc after that the fight will still be there..with that being said i hope wilder goes and knocks povektin's head off..havent liked him since the huck fight

uh,,,,have you not watched povetkins last 4 fights since wlad? makes wilder look like a club fighter. not to mention he also had wins over chambers,,,byrd,,,chageav and rahman before the improvement. his resume and performances trump wilders so badly its not even funny

Stiverne only had a vacate title that he won against the WBC's stool pigeon and artificial challenger Arreola.
