Light heavyweight contender Andrzej Fonfara (28-3, 16 KOs) is hungry to get his hands on WBC champion Adonis Stevenson (27-1, 22 KOs) for a second time.

They fought eighteen months ago in Canada. Stevenson got off to a fast start, dropping Fonfara twice and dominating him in the early rounds. Fonfara slowly came back and finished strong in the championship rounds when he had Stevenson down and in trouble. Stevenon won a unanimous decision.

Fonfara looked sloppy as hell in his last fight. If he thinks he's going to better against Stevenson this time, I think he's mistaken. Still worth watching though.

let me guess everyone is going to want that fight. saying how close it was even though stevenson won 9-10 rounds on all 3 judges score cards.
an knockdown where stevenson wasnt "Out on his feet" like people claim.

they'll want this rematch. and stevenson will win again and people will complain.

Fonfara is an easy fighter to like, and delighted the world by knocking Chavez's block off. Cleverly I thought would outbox Fonfara but a rematch with the duckman Stevenson would be cool!

How has he not fought Kovalev yet? He is clearly better than anyone not named Stevenson or kovalev.

Fonfara is just too easy to hit imo for him to beat Stevenson anytime soon. But Stevenson is a full decade older than he is, so if Fonfara wanted to wait another year or two for that fight, maybe things are different then.
