Mike Tyson vs. Floyd Mayweather

What's with all the negativity? TS said he's a new boxing fan. It seems like an honest question.

So are you asking what would happen if Mayweather fought Mike Tyson? Even now, I think Tyson's power would rock Floyd; weight classes exist for a reason.

But I understand your friends argument. I think he was trying to say that, weightclasses aside, Mayweather is the better fighter and I agree. Mayweather has shown more heart and better boxing skills. IMO Tyson is an overrated street fighter.

Floyd Mayweather would destroy Tyson.

Tyson was pretty slow, lacked head movement, and threw really slow and weak combinations. Even with the size advantage, Floyd's right hand cross would stop Tyson from even thinking of coming at him full force.

Then, Floyd would dominate from that point on to an easy UD.

Tyson could also get KO'd if he's not too careful.

Thank you for the feedback gentlemen. Now that I think about it, you two are right, Floyd Mayweather has much more stamina and would be able to outlast Tyson easily. I just think Mayweather would have to watch out and make sure he wouldn't get knocked out, although he is a defensive fighter.
