yes, but what mayweather said was broner just lost to porter and instead of a rematch, he fought for a vacant title against another guy coming off a loss.

Mayweather was going to fight judah first when he was lineal, then judah lost to baldo, so mayweather fought baldo first and then still fought judah since it was a matchup people wanted to see.

In his two closest fights, he took immediate rematches to set the record straight. Hes saying if he ever lost he would take a rematch.
