Marco Antonio Barrera: Final 7 fights

Barrera says he wants 7 more fights before he hangs up the gloves.. Who do you guys think he will fight and how do u see the fights playing out?

I think he is going to defeat Juarez(1) in May. Juarez is pretty good, but i dont think hes ready for Barrera at all.

Then i think he is gonna end up fighting Pacquiao(2),the fights is gonna happen eventually i know it is. I think it will be a different fight and Barrera will be ready and take the win.(Pleasedont turn this into a Pac-Barrera 2 thread)

Then after that he has unfinished business at 135 w/ Jesus Chavez(3). Chavez is good, but i think he would be outboxed against Barrera. but who knows how Marco will look at 135,its a toss-up but i'll go w/ Barrera.

Then Barrera should back down to 130 and fight Pac again(4) to complete their trilogy. Barrea will win this one because once again he will be prepared for Pac,he wasnt ready the first time.

Then unify the titles w/ Barrios(5) is he still has a belt. This could be a good fight but i think Barrera would beat him

Then unify the belts w/ Mosquera(6) is he still has a belt. I think Barrera would be to much for Mosquera.

Now Barrera will have evry velt at 130 and be the undisputed champion for his last fight. I say fight a pretty easy fight in Mexico City(7) for a farewell fight.

    So....
    1. Juarez
    2. Pacquiao
    3. Chavez
    4. Pacquiao
    5. Barrios
    6. Mosquera
    7 easy fight in Mexico

It prolly wont play out like I predicted lol. But i think Barrera is capable of beating every1 on that list, but some are also capable of beating him. Im very interested to see how the end of Barrera's legendary career plays out. Either way, Barrera is already a legend and is jus adding on to his already HOF career.

If Barrera is fightin Juarez on May, Pac is fightin Terible on November (Larios 1st on July though), I don't think Barrera wiil wait fo Manny to finish his date wit Morales just to fight him. I bet he fights NOT Pac after Juarez. He probably continues wit Jesus Chavez assuming he wins this upcoming fight.

I would like to see him fight Pacquiao, but I would be very surprised if he took the rematch. Barrera is always calling Pacquiao out at inconvenient times, because the public has figured out the pricing the opponent out trick.

He's gonna fight Juarez, then Chavez, then Pacquiao in 2007 after Pacquiao has dusted Morales again. I can't wait for those string of fights. Throw Barrios in the mix, and it gets even wilder.

yea I guess it was silly and pointless fo Barrera's side to ask Manny out to rematch him on March 2006 after the fight Pac had wit Terible only 1-2 months prior to askin. People that know boxing would think bad of him mo after that, but Im all fo it fo the rematch. Neva hurt me to see Pac whoop some ass.

Yeah, Barrera is just taking eay winnable fights for money now. He's at the end of his career, has 2 title belts, and is looking to pad his bank account a little. In the past, Barrera never cared for title belts...

im definitely waiting for that pac-barera to happen, i think barera is in danger in the chavez fight because of the weight but he is a hall of famer so he's good and he wont do it if he dont think he can win in that class

man I figured the same with Morales. remember how Chavez had Morales a little rattled in the first round? that's a good sign 130-135 is not your weight, Erik...
