Comments Thread For: Crawford, Vargas Give Bradley a Shot To Shock Canelo

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum will be an interested observer when Saul "Canelo" Alvarez challenges WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto on November 21 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

If Canelo wins that fight, then Arum plans to sit down with Oscar De La Hoya of Golden Boy Promotions to work out a potential fight with WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (33-1-1, 13KOs).

Bradley could probably do well enough against the static Canelo that Trout & Mayweather fought, but Canelo has since learned to move and pressure a little better (see Lara fight) so Bradley would find it tough.

Aye, he's learned to sell out a bit and not sit back thinking he's an unbeatable boxer, the Floyd loss was a good lesson that he needed.

spot on, some posters seem to think that canelo was schooled by floyd cuz he fought like a face first brawler, and it was the total opposite, they tried to outbox the master boxer....

Just the fact Canelo would entertain a Blown up 140

Is a pathetic travesty on boxing.

Bradley rehydrated to 155 last fight.

Canelo is looking more and more like a straight *****. Bradley can't beat top 147 fighters. But we are supposed to believe he stands a chance against the soon to be MW champ.

            Pathetic.

I'm sure Bradley could get big enough to fight at 154lbs but its going to take at least 6 months, I'm more than certain him as a person and how good an athlete he is he could easily fill out to 154lbs.

Overall its probably not worth it because there are so many big money fights in 147lbs left for him to chase in comparison to 154 Cotto and Canelo the only two?

                Porter
                Khan
                Floyd (If he ever returns)
The list just goes on, hype wise the 147lbs division has got it.
