So Gamboa hasn't been fighting for a year and people are talking about how he would crush Lomachenko. I thought boxers who have been on long layoffs should have tuneup fights first. On one hand people make it as an excuse, and on this case it's not an issue. What am I missing?

It's a perfect excuse when it suits the agenda. Funny part is it always sounds as if it's fans' fault the boxer in question is taking long vacations without any injury.

dude has one lost against one of the best fighters in the world and yall are killing him for it. I can see why fighters duck each other now. Lose one fight and all of a sudden you aint **** in the eyes of the fans.

I have hard time believing that Yuri can even make 130. plus he badly needs a fight at that weight to the get rust off - If he makes 130 he'll weigh 145-150lbs fight night... I'm sure that's a huge part of what Loma's camp will be thinking about. I don't see it happening despite the talk
