When has Canelo put consistent pressure on anybody? I don't see what everybody sees in this kid. I think Cotto has this fight hands down. I think Canelo gets schooled again. Cotto is the real deal and the second best fighter Canelo would have faced. Yes, I still think Cotto is better than Lara and Trout.

I think Cotto has made it very clear that he doesn't give two ****s about being great or what the fans think. He says only thing he cared about was 1. being the first PR fighter to win titles in 4 weight classes, 2. just supporting his family. It's a good approach by him, forget what fans, historians, media say, they don't pay Meldrick Taylor's bills, who works bagging groceries now, or support any deceased boxers family, or pay for life threatening injuries caused by blows to the head.

This is so true. You're not are fan of the sport if you put your own blood lust ahead of the well being of the fighters. That's why I'll never hate on any fighter who says he cares about his health and his family more than the fans.
