I always go with Canelo but the 154 pound Trinidad was a monster and close to invincible. I would pick Trinidad to beat Canelo. I hate picking against Canelo even in fantasy fights but I was a huge Trinidad fan. Trinidad was never quite as good after Hopkins beat him and 160 was not his best weight. Trinidad never lost at 147 or 154. I hope no idiot comes up with Trinidad's loaded wraps BS but they probably will. Trinidad never used illegal wraps and he was never fined or suspended for illegal wraps. He used too much tape by New York's unusual rules in the Hopkins fight and had to rewrap his hands. It was no big deal. Tape protects the boxer's hands but does not increase punching power. Trinidad had God given murderous punching power from hand speed and proper technique and leverage.
