Comments Thread For: Freddie Roach Would Entertain Training Chavez Jr. Again

A few days ago, BoxingScene.com reported that former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (49-2-1, 32KOs) was looking to have Freddie Roach return to his corner.

Chavez had trained with Roach for some of his best performances. The boxer left Roach last year after breaking away from promoter Top Rank and signing with manager Al Haymon.

      Waste of Time

Freddie Please Don't Waste your time on this guy who doesn't really care about the sport. He is constantly out of shape and you even had him for a CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHT for Sergio Martinez and he still was skipping training acting like he was already champion and you were inconvenience for training him.

Not to mention his skills aren't great. He has no defense and the best thing he has is power (which his is overrated).

Concentrate on getting Frankie Gomez and Jose Ramirez ready for there bright futures. Especially getting Frankie's head in the game.

And if you do go back to him charge him triple the amount before for your time.

He's probably loaded to be honest, but after Pacquiao is gone the high purse fighters are out of Freddie's stable. Most are just contenders unless I'm forgetting somebody. Shiming probably being the best paid.

I think Freddie could of retried anytime now with the money he has made but he would never ditch Manny like that and he obviously loves the game.
