Pacquiao didn't deliver either my friend. If he was so much better then Floyd how come he didn't dominate land the clean punches in a way he did against Cotto, Margarito, Rios, Bradley, Mosely, and Algeri? He didn't bring that Manny into the fight with him. Floyd fought the way he always does, Pac didn't. Pac's corner say that they were going to embarrass and demolish Floyd. That did not happen at all. He had his moments but in no way he performed the way he promised to everyone. The reason is because Floyd didn't let him. He did to Pac what he does to everyone else which is make them look average. He didn't look like the Pac that beat the guys that I mentioned.

Well Pac had a legit excuse. While Floyd with 2 healthy arms, roided up to the gill still ran and hugged for 12 rounds.

But yes that was uneventful night of boxing I agree, hence, needs to be settled. Money wise and all the marbles.

Even if they did fight again it would be the exact same fight. Pac will push the action and Floyd will be defensive and counter. The only difference is Pac will be a little more aggressive but we all have seen that just works to Floyds favor. The more aggressive you are, the more it leaves you open. That's why there shouldn't be a rematch. Its just gonna play out the same way and Floyd will get hated for it, again.

If a fighter loves to hug and run all night. No offensive fighter can be effective especially when a ref helps him to clinch all night lol

So he hits and grabs right away before he can countered. Cool. TBE! Lol seeing a fighter move and fight his way outta tough spots makes me respect him. Not that grabbing ****.


If boxer's will emulate Floyd's tactics of jab hug and run then boxing is fuvked.

Also Floyd has fought with injured hands before and still came out a winner so that shoulder thing can be an excuse but given how he still was able to put together combos and throw with power makes me not want to accept that. Like I said in a previous post if his shoulder was hurt as bad as Berto's then yeah I can accept that excuse, but it wasn't. I never seen a fighter with a severe shoulder injury still fight the way pacquiao did. If he was still able to fight that way with an injured shoulder, that shouldn't be used as an excuse. I bet if Pac was named the winner that night Arum wouldn't have pushed the issue. They only mentioned it because they didn't get the result they wanted.

Looking at the video it happened everytime Pac came in and while Floyd was going against the ropes. If they were in the center of the ring the clinches were not happening as much. I've been watching this sport for years. Anytime a fighter was penalized for excessive clinching was from punching and then clinching or clinching just for the hell of it. That's not seen in this video my friend.

with all that hugging one must assume if it wasnt bayles in there and it was'nt Floyd the ref is refereeing. Those intentional huggings should have been an automatic disqualification with those overly ***** unsportsmanlike tactics.

Yes it is a foul if conducted in the way I described. I do know my boxing. I've doing it since 2007. Clinching when against the ropes to keep your opponent from getting an advantage is a common practice. Its even taught in training as an amateur. But its only legal in the way I described it. Look at other boxing matches. Its done all the time. If you see a fighter go against the ropes and his opponent is trying to tee off on him what expect him to do, stand there and cover up and take it? No. He's going to clinch. Floyd is not the only fighter that does this so I don't understand the issue with clinching.

So if you're in a boxing match and guy has you against the ropes, you wont clinch? If not how you gonna keep him from landing punches. You can only block for so long until can't anymore and you can no longer keep your hands up. Please tell me how my friend.
