Roger Mayweather says Floyd has got to beat Manny Again earn respect from boxing fans

If you can't link, just go to, on the ropes boxing.com, interview is all there.

Roger Mayweather: Floyd's legacy is going to be good but he needs to close that legacy with Pacquiao. He needs to go back and him and Pacquiao need to do it again. Thats what I think. To close the door in terms of victory, thats what he needs to do.
Jenna J: If Floyd does that, where does that put him amongst the greats?

Roger Mayweather: That would put him amongst the greatest fighters, but Floyd had a good, long legacy anyways. He will be amongst some of the greatest fighters but hes got to close the thing with Pacquiao before he ever does that, because thats one of the known guys that people respect and I think thats the guy that he's gonna have to beat or have to show something with.

Even Roger Mayweather knows Floyd didn't conclude anything that night.

    The truth cuts like butter.

Oh okay I thought you were implying Roger felt that Floyd didn't win the fight. Even if he did fight Pac again and beat him haters will still say "he never fought GGG so he still sucks." He will never get respect from haters. They will always find an excuse. Floyd is so good at what he does people hate him for it.

        It's even worse.

He thinks Floyd didn't conclude anything. Same Shyiet. It's like not deserving the win. To say he really won. He should shut up the ones who aren't convinced.

All he did was ran and hugged for 12 rounds and that's with all the peds and IVS he can get he still played it safe. Like a ***** against a one armed man. Pathetic much?

Floyd's uncle knew he didn't deserve the W and the boos in the MGM are much louder now.

The only way Floyd will get respect from people is if he loses. A lot of people want to see him fail. That's the haters mentality. Hell look at the word "haters". Its actually an acronym

          Having

          Anger

          Towards

          Everyone

          Reaching

          Success

Whether you hate him or love him that doesn't change the fact that he is the best boxer of this era. Floyd being the best ever, I disagree with that but you can't go 49-0 throughout a 19 year career without having some type of skill. Folks says he handpicked his opponents, but when other fighters fought the same guys he did it was okay. Prime example is DLH. Floyd DLH when he was bigger and at 154. He beats him he got criticized. Pac fights and beats an older and weight drained DLH a couple of years later and its the best thing ever. But I understand today the best fighters get hated on the most which confuses me. Fighters like Floyd, GGG, and Andre Ward get bashed all the time but lesser fighters get no criticism at all. I just don't get it. It seems that everybody is ducking somebody now. No fighter in history has fought ALL their opponents while they were in their prime. So I don't understand all the hate now. Just goes to show the new generation of so called boxing fans. A guy who shows no skill and gets his head bashed in is praised while the guy who fights in a way that boxing is meant is criticized. Wtf.
This is what I don't get about some boxing "fans," all they want is carnage, blood and anyone that tries to avoid that public titillation is a coward or something. So if I'm getting this right fighters should just stand in front of punches and take them regardless of the cost? Yeaaaaaah????????

His uncle is not being a hater. He just voicing his opinion. Floyd is not perfect, but who is. People act like he's the only fighter in the world that was a champion with dirty hands. Hell Mike Tyson was a convicted rapist, Ali was a draft dodger and committed adultery. Hell even Pacquiao was out ****ing other women before he became a born again Christian. But those things didn't change the fact there were good fighters. So I never understood why Floyds dirt is constantly being thrown out there.

So if you really care about Floyd you should understand what his uncle is saying.

Which is, he hasn't concluded jack against Pac.

                    Truth hurts.
