why does this sound more like a wishful thinking fantasy of yours rather than reality. Its all about timing..yes, and if thats what your basing the fight on, the time it takes to do something is reduced quickness, which mayweather has alot of, even at welterweight. Mayweather doesnt exactly fight in a formulated pattern to simply "time" him on.

Of course its not only about timing but Margarito is the bigger, stronger fighter. And he will land and when he lands he will land repeatedly. Now! Lets make this match-up and see how Mayweather will react when Margarito hits him.

Look at the first and second Castillo v. Mayweather fight -second fight is posted here- and look how sleak Mayweather was but! Castillo still landed some heavy leather slowing Mayweather down. Margarito will do the same and be more effective because he will be able to take Mayweathers shot even better then Castillo and will trap Maywather and pound away. Margarito doesn't mind hitting the arms. So whatever Mayweather give him Margarito is going to make him pay.

I think Magarito Mayweather would be a good fight. Floy is not impossible to hit. Margarito definetly is there for Floyd to hit. Sounds like a great fight, so why all the hatin? I think marg is smart enough to be effectve and in the fight. For the record I really really like marg but floyd, man the guy is in the same class that jones was three years ago befor he went to heavy except floyd does not make the same mistakes as jones floyd has better technical skills than jones ever did. How ever I think jones had more raw phisical ability. I do not like floyd at all and probebly will not ever. However I give respect where it is do, and he is the P4P king no question. Honestly I do not think that winky if he is that close is even close to him Winky does not have a record since his last couple of fights that says I am a bad ass floyd however has fought and beaten disisevly good solid opponents. I think Floyd has a good enough chin to withstand Marg and then break him down, But he will have to deal with the size of Marg and that could be a factor.

I don't know about that, Floyd looks like the obvious favorite but Margarito has the reach and stiffness to his punches to put him out. But I don't think "that" makes up all the negative posts about Mexican fighters let alone the posts hatin on Margarito. People are just mad that Mexicans beat ass and dont fall into their category of preferable fighter.

I can follow what you are saying and I understand your perspective personally I love mexican fighters and I am as Blanco as it gets.
