Hopefully its true;he's been slurring for a while now, and it will only get worse. He can train guys on inside fighting and have a career at that. Let his wife take care of the money, and they will be straight.I never believe a retirement of a under 30 boxer, but hope Rios has enough money & perhaps a future training guys or doing something with Garcia or anything that will keep him working instead of at home thinking about getting in the ring again.
He seemed like he had one foot out the door for his last few camps & fights so this comes as no surprise.Comment

Not even comparing the two.
I am saying Brook might have hurt Rios.
From the pure physiological point of view that I don't think Rios was in good health and that Brook being the biggest and heaviest guy Rios would ever have face would be punching him in the head. Brook has no predisposition to go to the body at all.
Mentioned it a few times the unconvincing way he makes and has made weight is borderline dangerous. He hydrated up that weight he was last night was outrageous. God Knows what that guy is doing to his kidneys never mind his brain.
And people want same day weight ins. Yikes.Last edited by Sparked_26; 11-08-2015, 10:21 AM.Comment

Not gonna lie this retirement reeks of laziness. If Rios would take care of himself in between fights and not go into camp to cut weight then maybe his body would respond. I wish him the best in his retirement, but things would of been different IMO if he took care of himself.Comment
