Was hoping Tim would be able to step it up and stay relevant in a division filling up with new, talented fighters. I think he's doing just that.

All you have to do to appease some of these guys is beat a bum impressively on HBO. Hell they don't even bitch when it's a mismatch on HBO for some reason. GGG fights a resume filled with 90+% of cans and they lap it up and hype him to the extreme. Loma just fought a Salka like odds can and nobody bats an eye. Tim Bradley has a hard fight with Chaves, almost gets sparked by Jesse Vargas, then beats the shittiest version of Bum Bum Rios, and now he can KO Canelo and Cotto and is apparently putting the WW division on notice I hope HBO pays some of these guys.

I read the OP. There's no "new Bradley".

He fought a guy who didn't show up.

I will give Bradley credit for finally dominating a fight from start to finish without "pulling a Bradley" and almost losing.

He convincingly beat all of those guys. And stopped the toughest out of all mentioned I never said he'd knock out Canelo or Cotto :fourrollingheads: GTFOH...hater

Haven't had the chance to actually watch the fight yet but, off of just what Teddy had Bradley convinced of in the media day, Tim Bradley is looking like a ****ing monster.

Defensively aware, in/out style to add to his pace, far better foot movement/placement (Teddy had Bradley feint the double-jab, slide the head off of an anticipated counter, and step off, in full position to return fire), in addition to Bradley's noted heart and grit.

Boxing politics has a way of messing the pot up though; WBC/WBA/IBF 147 belts will likely stay in the Showtime/PBC orbit, with the WBO 147 belt staying on HBO.

Pacquiao, Sadam Ali, Jessie Vargas rematch, Bradley Skeete (and whatever other world-level 147 fighters that Frank Warren can produce), Ray Robinson (signed with, apparently, Roc Nation, who have locked Ward up with HBO for the near future), and whatever other 147 fighters that may emerge outside of the Haymon orbit, are about all Bradley has to look forward to.

Hopefully HBO has the gumption to offer up the TV dates.

Some sad stuff lol. Everybody is hyping Bradley like he's a new and improved guy under Teddy Atlas.

Bradley did to Rios what Rios did to Alvarado in their third fight that is all. Rios didn't show up and just got paid. He was so lethargic and dead in the ring at 170.....23lbs overnight

Bradley better not even fight Canelo or Cotto. He will get sparked even with his resurgence lol

It doesn't matter, he is stuck with Arum. Look how many 147 he could have fought if he wasn't stuck with Arum?
