Not to discredit Bradley because knocking out Rios Is beyond difficult but I think the fight has more to do with what Rios didn't do as opposed to what Bradley did do.

Rios looked like a shell of what he once was, which even at his best was nothing more then a C level fighter with a huge heart and Iron chin. A very tough guy to say the least. He fits well Into the Gatti/Ward category.

Bradley looked like Bradley, although at times he did seem to implement Pacquiaos strategy of getting In and out without engaging Rios as he did Provodnikov. At times he was willing to stand and engage and did very well but for the most part he controlled the pace and fought a very Intelligent fight.

It will be Interesting to see what the future holds for the Bradley/Atlas team. As a Jim Lampley fan, I certainly can not agree with his assessment concerning Bradley being competitive with Canelo. Arum would probably be wise to avoid this match.

Anyway, congratulations Tim Bradley, good win and great body work.

I love how Teddy all yells and way overreacts when the fight is well in hand. Lol

But really, Bradley really made steps in his technique under Atlas and it has made him appear better than ever. It's real hard to tell how much of that was Rios' fault and how much better Tim was but one thing is for sure, Rios looked great in his last fight and Bradly completely disarmed him and took him out even when Pacquiao couldn't. I noticed that Bradley was throwing punches with a lot more authority too and straightened up his right hand. Teddy earned that money on this one.

My eyes welled up on listening to that fireman analogy by Teddy Atlas.Remember he's comes from the camp of the great, late Cus D'Amato. He talked about feeding a flame.Atlas updated it.Bradley looked fired up after the speech and so was I lol!!
Atlas' gonna get a lotta calls to train fighters, but he's old skool and today's fighters are too emotionally fragile to listen.
Cus's line of hit,but don't get hit,but at the same time be exciting was executed by D.S.

                      Good win...

Good win for Bradley. Rios is a fat ass who isn't committed to the sport. He doesn't take his craft, seriously. Bradley does. Rios was 170lbs in there. Boxing is a joke if they don't go back to same day weigh-ins. Someone is going to get killed because of it, eventually.

As for the fight, Bradley is my guy. He was already a good fighter, he just needed to learn some consistent defense. He's on the right track. He did what I expected him to do. Rios didn't have a chance anyway. Smh. I'd like to see one of AL's hyped up welterweights in with Bradley. Bradley is yet another fighter that Floyd ducked. He wanted no part of Bradley. But he can fight Berto though. Good win for Bradley. However, he will not get a trilogy with Manny. For what? He's not in Manny's league. Manny is fighting Khan or Crawford. I prefer Khan because he's proved more at the weight. Crawford is a good fighter but he's 140lber who has never beaten anyone of note and he's never fought at welterweight. Money-wise, Khan makes perfect sense, since Floyd is GAY and running from the rematch.
