I wonder if HBO has some kind of clause that allows them to recoup $ from Ward or Roc Nation Should he decide to retire or get injured right before that Kovolov fight.

I have no doubt Ward is going renegade on his word to fight Kovolov.

This is easily the worst contract hbo has done since Haymon was a part of there network.

... I don't anything with Andre Ward's fans -- the guy was perceived as the next U.S. star to follow Floyd or at least B-Hop...

... It's only funny that some of them pretend that Ward actually wanted to fight GGG next... Last time Ward mentioned the Golovkin fight (with some "precision") he only said something about possibly next April or something like this...

I don't think he'll fight any of these guys. Perhaps Fonfara, but he's nothing special.

Looks like Ward has taken firm hold of Mayweather's throne as most hated. Pointless to waste energy on these idiots. Just sit back, be patient, and watch Ward wipe out HBO's stable of light heavyweights while Golovkin continues to beat up on no-hopers while calling out retired WWs and blown-up JMWs.

Ward is a man, Golovkin is a coward.

Ehhh. I think the issue is he expects to get treated like Floyd because of the super 6. Not realizing Floyd did his own super 6 in multiple divisions before he got to the level he was at.

Ward was forced into the super 6. HBO is forcing him to sign the contract to fight Kov last. He's not gonna ruin his legacy...the man used Gennady to be more relevant in boxing

Ward could fight garbage the rest of his career and more than likely still retire with a better resume than Little G.
