Is J-Rock vs Austin Trout happening?

No reason this fight should not happen.

Austin Trout is a master of doing nothing in the ring.

He throws punches like he doesn't even want to hurt his opponent. Keep that scrub off my tv.

Trout is shook, he knows J-Rock will ice his ass in the quickness.

Luckily I scrolled down, because I was just about to post this. He's most likely a part of that WBC 154 Tournament.

Trout said he'd fight J-Rock then changed his mind and agreed to fight Michael Soro (who's just as tough as J-Rock) for a minor title, but now that just got canceled as well. Trout said he's in line for one of the other belts, so he might be in the tourney as well.

Personally I'd love to see J-Rock/Canelo next. If Canelo won't move up to 160, then him and J-Rock is an awesome fight to make.

The WBC just had their conference, so you expect their rankings to change around some. J-Rock's win over Cuello should've bumped him into the top 5, given Cuello was rated in their top 20. But also you can expect Andrade maybe getting invited into the tournament with Jermell, J-Rock, Jackson, and Martirosyan.

I want to see how big this thing is and whether they'll invite Lara into it as well (I'm hoping they do and maybe that's what Ronnie Shields was referring to about Lara having options at 154).

Here's what I'd like to see with the WBC tourney after Hatley beats Mundine this week.

                Jermell Charlo
                John Jackson

                Demetrius Andrade
                Austin Trout

                Julian Williams
                Vanes Matirosyn

                Erislandy Lara
                Charles Hatley

Edit: It'll be interesting to see if the WBC invites Alvarez after he vacates the WBC MW title and whether Alvarez accepts, and then how that gets handled with HBO/PBC politics. Otherwise, what freaking options does Canelo have at 154/155?

Julian Williams can come out of this tourney completely victorious. I see him as the more complete skill set out of every one. Just my opinion though

Since Lara is the WBA Champ, I doubt he'd be invited. Technically, he can't be ranked. So, replace Lara with Willie Nelson.

                    FIRST ROUND
                    (1) Jermell Charlo vs (13) Charles Hatley
                    (2) John Jackson vs (11) Willie Nelson
                    (3) Vanes Matirosyn vs (7) Jorge Cota (Cota is supposed to fight John Jackson, since they won those WBC fights a few months back on Bounce TV. So, I stuck him here. Not sure if Andrade will be ranked by WBC.)
                    (5) Austin Trout vs (6) Julian Williams (Look, works out great! Trout vs. Williams in 1st Round.)

                    SECOND ROUND
                    Charlo-Hatley winner vs Trout-Williams winner
                    Jackson-Nelson winner vs Vanes-Cota winner

                    FINALS
                    Charlo-Hatley-Trout-Williams winner vs. Jackson-Nelson-Vanes-Cota winner.

I think the rankings will be slightly changed to enhance match-up and to make sure the best will possibly meet the best in the Finals. This is how they'd mach-up as today. I see Williams or Trout being moved to #2 spot to make sure a Charlo vs Trout or Williams fight doesn't happen in the 2nd round.
