Let's just hope wlad doesn't pull out again

    May the best man win

Be careful what you wish for Fury. Being ko'ed is no good as it takes your soul away and manhood. As long as you go for a ko that's fine and try your best.

If you lose by ko, you will be like everyone else who lost to ko by Wlad.

I'd be a heck of a lot more inclined to say the bafoons were the ones who were there just to survive. Kingpin Johnson comes to mind as do many others in the ring with Wlad. Fury has THE right mindset, win or lose. The mindset we fans should applaud.

Whole lotta wishful thinking/jealousy on your part. Nothing more. Fury makes an excellent point. Too many go in there just to run and survive.

I doubt that. Most of the others didn't go down guns blazing. If Fury loses, I'm sure it will have been after he shook Wlad a few times.

I'm seeing this as a 50/50 fight. Both fighters have had bad moments in their fights. The only way Wlad has much of an edge is if he gets a ref in his pocket who allows him to grab a dozen times a round. That's my biggest complaint against the guy. He has enough talent to just box without that crapola. I'm sure Fury will test him, and we'll see an action fight. I would think that after as many boring Wlad fights as we've seen, more boxing fans would embrace Fury's attitude going in.

Isn't all this nonsense the same shyte Haye talked ? I saw a sparring video mid week between former cruiser champ Johnny Nelsen and Fury, it was hilarious, Fury was maybe just being his peculiar self but some of what he was saying and doing just made me cringe.

Personally I think Fury is becoming more nervous with each passing interview, realising he can not unnerve the champ as he has intended to in previous pressers.

This new shape he is now presenting himself in is great news, no excuses from Fury fans when Fury hits the deck and is counted out.

Can you point to a specific point where he has ben nervous? I certainly haven't seen it.

i could see this being a Froch vs Groves 1 kind of fight. I definitely think Fury will take Wlad by surprise. It will be interesting to see if Fury can make use of his longer reach.

At the end of the day, Wladimir has unbelievable punching power for 12 rounds. So Fury will either have to take Wlad out early, which I doubt. Or stay completely focused for 12 rounds, which he could but with a bit of success, is he going to stay composed? Not sure.

It all depends on which Wlad shows up and how seriously he's taking this fight or how much he has left.

He doesn't at any point appear calm, he seems easily unnerved like when Wlad called him a clown, I put that down to nerves.

You've seen it alright, you're just looking past it, desperately reaching for something else that simply is not there.

Lets look at Wlad, a cool calm collected person, whilst sat there listening to Fury's rubbish, he has a certain British James Bond like quality, and lets not forget Wlad is a real person, James Bond ain't even real !

But never mind all thst, you have Joshua to fall back on yet and we can go through all this again in 12-24 months.
