This. Postol is a real fighter. But he didn't say he actually wants Crawford next. he said he'd fight him next if it happened though. But Crawford didn't want it then, he probably doesn't want it now.

Imam is or will be the best at 140, imo.

Why not rail at the refs?

I like Postol as a fighter. Not as entertaining as GGG but a good combination of defence, not 100% clinching like Klitscho, and very good boxing skills with an ability to finish off. You wanna see terrible boring fighters - go watch Miguel Vasquez or Micky Bey - when they fought, try as I could, I couldn't find anything enjoyable about that. Not so with Postol.

Well talk is cheap - but it's a great start. If he were to fight matthysse, crawford and imam 3 in a row I reckon that would be the best 3 fight run since ??? - can't even think of one better in recent times.

Postol and his team are not short of confidence.

I sh.itted on Pistol for over a year and didn't think to highly of him. But he should get his props for making Matthysse quit, Lucas maybe on a downward trajectory and appears to always fall short in big fights but still he did what he needed to do.

His height and crisp jab might be problems for most 140 guys and if he decides to fight Crawford then Iman win or lose he should get his props. Not going to say I'm a fan but I'll definitly be watching.

You have an excuse after every Matthysse loss.

Danny "Swift" Garcia did it when he fought Amir Khan, at the time considered the best 140 fighter, in a unification bout in his FIRST title defense why can't this guy do it?

Hope that happens. I think those 3 guys at 140 make it one of the most fun top 3 round robin-ish situations in boxing. I could see those guys be some poormans (or brokemans) Hagler/Leonard/Hearns or Ali/Frazier/Foreman.

And respect to Postol for wanting this sorta schedule. Usually when a guy is wanting a voluntary before a mandatory these days it seems like they wanna fight a guy who's best days are behind him or who's never had or will have "best days" in boxing.

That's a tough run of fights. Good for him.

This is what we want, and should expect, from top fighters.
