I agreed with pretty much everything, Castillo beat Mayweather, Calzaghe beat Hopkins, Canelo beat Lara, Dirrell beat Froch, Leonard beat Hagler no question, Khan beat Peterson, and Toney beat the bodysnatcher..... and I will leave the first 2 Marquez fights, but not the 3rd

I had Marquez winning that fight reasonably comfortably.

And I did not think that Leonard was going to pull that fight around, no way, I thought he was gone for all money. Hearns was just too long, and too good on the night. Probably the best fight I ever saw.

I think Bradley will have too much for Rios.

I got Ward over both Golovkin and Kovalev, I don't think Ward has too many problems with GGG but the big guy will be as much of a test for Ward as Ward will be for Kovalev. I have Ward as favorite in that fight, but he will need to be right on point vs the krusher.

Exactly. Bread said it perfectly, Boones a very good fighter, he just has a bad record. He has a bad record because of elites like Krusher and Ward.

He's lost quite a bit, but so did Emanuel Augustus. And Augustus Gave floyd a hell of a fight. I don't know why it is sometimes talented fighters can't find consistency but it is what it is.

Fantastic read. Agreed with most of it (Calzaghe/Bhop, Canelo/Lara, Ward/ggg/kkk) and the parts I didn't agree with were still well articulated and reasonable.

Thats exactly who I was thinking of. Taking fights on short notice, debatable decisions, just having an unstable life/personal situation I think...... just not being regarded as a top fighter can make it tougher.

That also puts a better perspective on the records of some of the older fighters who fought back in the day..... where not only did all that still apply, but life was just tougher in general.

Undefeated records dont mean much really, but in Mayweather case it really is remarkable how he managed to stay undefeated considering his resume.

He is the ultimate professional, but you would have to think there was a bit of luck in there as well..... injuries/Castillo/Judah/etc.

Pacquiao vs Marquez 1,2,3. We disagree big on this one. I thought Pacquiao won the first fight clear. Marquez won the drama of the fight by coming back from 3 knockdowns but as far as points scored I don’t think he won. In fact one of the judges admitted afterwards he made a mistake on the scoring of the 1st round and had he scored it correctly, Pacquiao would have won.

If the judge was incompetent to score that first round 'incorrectly,' what makes anyone think he's competent enough to score the other 11 rounds 'correctly?'

Well, I haven't seen Kovalev-Boone 1 but I read it was more like a flash knockdown whereas Ward was out on his feet. Kovalev seems to have a decent chin, seeing as he was taking some good shots from Pascal.

Ward's the one who's moving up to 175 where there will be bigger, stronger guys and he's already in his 30's so who knows how he'll do at that weight, could be dangerous for him.

As I said I know more about boxing than you will ever know , sometimes I am having a conversation with other people on here and then you write into it saying ****** things with all kinds of garbage , as for the bet your so big on canelo and ward so instead of all the internet posturing lets puts some money on it , I told you I'll have golovkin to beat canelo and I'll take kovalev to beat ward it's that simple, this solves everything in regards to these 2 matchups..
