Comments Thread For: Bradley: Huge Differences Between Atlas, Diaz Camps

Timothy Bradley realized immediately that Teddy Atlas’ training camp was going to be much different than anything he had experienced while working with longtime trainer Joel Diaz.

Bradley described a more regimented, rules-oriented camp when he was asked about those differences during a conference call Wednesday. The two-division world champion, who’ll battle Brandon Rios in a 12-round, 147-pound title fight Saturday night in Las Vegas (HBO; 9:30 p.m. ET), likened the experience to a boot camp, yet made it clear that he enjoyed it because he was learning things Bradley believes have made him a better boxer.

I've seen this happen all the time and when they trade trainers it usually takes 3-4 fights to get familiar with each other. I really think Rios is going to win. If he's staying off the weed.

It made sense for Bradley to go for someone like Atlas who's a more disciplined based trainer given his upbringing probably what he wants more than a looser camp.

not true bumdley wants a trainer that only trains him, they tried to get buddy mcgrit but buddy not gonna give up his stable just to train bumley so team bumley had no choice but to go with teddy.

Anywho Bumley nothing gonna work cause you know what, nothing was wrong with you last trainer you just think it was but like chavez jr the problem lies within you. You gonna get stopped by Rios everyone knows it, your nothing but a punching bag at WW.

I'm leaning toward Rios for this one. But it's close.

So when Rios is beating Bradley then what?
It will be great entertainment to hear mr.positive reinforcement between rounds
Coaching his guy to basically lay down and be slaughtered.

Timmy can't help ragging on Joel on an almost daily basis. No class whatsoever.
