God, Roach could have Chavez Jr & Broner in his gym at the same time. Frankie Gomez will look like a spartan gladiator now.

In fairness what extra time is Freddie gonna need to set aside for Chavez Jr., like 45mins a month maybe?

With Chavez Jr's dedication to the sport I think he could train outta his garbage & do about the same. Just hire some 50ish mom-like character to work his corner & just tell him "you are my special boy" & things like that between rounds as she's giving him water.

Chavez is ass. I already got tired of broner losing. But I don't think I can get enough of Chavez getting his ass kicked by guys his size (probably a little bit smaller than him too)

Actually, that's probably not a bad idea.

I don't know if Stoolio Chavez has it in him for that, but it's the best he can get most likely.

According to Sr., Julio wants to return to the training arms of Freddie Roach, who previously trained the Mexican star for several years.

After Chavez Jr. parted with longtime promoter Top Rank earlier this year, he broke away from Roach and hired Joe Goossen. That relationship lasted one fight and then he hired Robert Garcia.

Don't know how Roach divides his time among his fighters. Pacman will be fighting presumably at around the same date as Chavez, and Roach usually spends most of his time with his star fighters, Cotto, Pac... Roach lost Khan because he wasn't able to manage the time when he was with him. Just wondering why Sr can't just train his own son.

No doubt, really couldn't see him lasting two weeks.
