It's not a good look to have no testing. What is worse is when posters reach different conclusions for different boxers that do the same thing.
Kovalev is the one that even brought up VADA for the Pascal fight.

Actually Kovalev/Duva tried to get VADA testing. What they refused to agree to was Pascal's modified version of VADA testing. Keep in mind, Pascal was working with Memo at that time and they designed their own testing protocol that they wanted to implement for that fight.

A month ago, with the fight between light heavyweight titleholder Sergey Kovalev and Jean Pascal already signed, the headlines began to reflect a back-and-forth

You guys both know the real deal. This was in response to Pascal asking to use his testing. Kovalev/Duva didn't request any testing from the beginning then Duva tried to save face by trying to tell Pascal HE had to pay for VADA rather than her paying for it up front.

As for this thread, There was NO testing for that fight. Kovalev wasn't assumed guilty, Cotto shouldn't be either IMO.

I don't recall. I just assumed testing had been agreed to already.

This isn't a good look for Cotto, I think we all see that. I just don't think it makes him look dirty and I hate it that "no testing = dirty" is applied randomly.

"Pascal then claimed that VADA is seen as having no credibility because it only works with boxers and not with athletes in other sports"

Sounds like excuses. Only agency catching people, if I'm clean and want to the highest possibility to fight a clean opponent, I'd go to VADA, maybe it's just me personally though.

What does Kovalev have to do with this thread? Accusing him because he's white? We already know your agenda fag.

They didn't bring up VADA until Pascal brought up his own version of testing. Pascal offered to pay for his testing, but refused to pay for VADA testing, that's not su****ious? Why would they agree to let Pascal implement his own testing program as he's working with Memo? There might as well be no testing at all...
