Comments Thread For: Timothy Bradley Comes Clean - And Goes Off!

Timothy Bradley is universally respected and recognized as a brave warrior in the ring, if not to a fault. Having won three championships in two weight classes, he's survived hellacious wars and all sorts of styles, with Manny Pacquiao the only fighter to hang a loss on his career to date.

That doesn't figure to change this weekend, as he is a 5-1 favorite to outlast Brandon Rios in their HBO-televised welterweight fight at Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Perhaps because of that, discussion well beyond the matchup itself has taken place leading up and during fight week.

    "Learn everything you can"

Does not mean she ever got the opportunity to learn more than 25% of what Cameron does. This notion that all you have to do is step in is laughable...

In attempting to tell us how intelligent he is, he sounded like a bit of a goof. Still, I hope to see a new Tim Bradley in the ring as I think he's had untapped potential.

When he retires from the sport, he has already set himself up to have a commentating career. When the big boxing checks stop rolling in, he'll still be living life in the black every month with no debt.

He owns several businesses and can use his properties to generate income. The man will still be making millions of dollars a year even in retirement while many other boxers will be fighting to 40 years of age, far past their primes just to earn enough money to cover the back child support.

I think his point was that he knows what's best for him in the end.

I hope it all ends well for him.

Tim's getting bitter in his old age. Goes off on all the people who were loyal to him in Diaz and Dunkin.

Remember this - Tim signed his new contract with TR w/o Dunkin's help. He likes to brag he saved himself 10%. But then he goes and gets robbed against Diego Chavez. You have to wonder if TR didn't have a win clause into Tim's contract effecting his minimum guarantee?
