I wouldn't look too far into this. Cotto is by no means the first fighter to show the marks on his face from training and he won't be the last.

You can either see it as a guy sparing hard to prepare for a great fight, or you can see it as a guy getting pushed around as he nears his careers end.

Personally I try not to read into it. We will see in a few weeks. I can't wait for this fight.

2 punches that troubles Cotto are 1- uppercuts due to Cotto's stand, 2- straight rts due to Cotto being so left happy, he's opened to counter rts....seems they working on that.

Canelo is a young, strong counter puncher with fast hands, good uppercuts and straight rts...pretty sure Freddy's not only preparing Cotto for that, but I got the impression they are training like this cause Cotto will take plenty of chances in the fight...it'll be a hard fight for both fighters!!!
