ward is a great fighter fought the best so far what if he has a weak opponent as a comeback? bumlovkin has been fighting bums such as geale and monroe and these ******s think he belongs in the top 10 p4p list...didn't he sell 97k last fight? ward would sell more by just hitting a bag (which fights better than bumlovkins opponents)

no sympathy for ward, he made this bed. paul smith is enough tuning up, they should've pursued gonzalez from day one. whats the point of beating brand, he gets absolutely no credit for it and it tells us nothing about him at 175. i had no issue with another tune up a few days ago, but just changed my mind, he doesn't need it. the last good opponent was 2011 man, enough.
the three fights should be gonzalez, fonfara and kovalev.

I agree to some extent. If he's really injured, I hope he gets better. That being said, I agree that there isn't a point to fighting another SMW at LHW. I'd have been OK with at least a decent LHW contender. Gonzalez of course would have been an excellent opponent for us to gauge where Ward could stand at 175.
