I don't get the comments that he can face bums because he will face Kovalev next year. He actually admitted he wants the easiest way possible to get a big money fight but other fighters who try to fight as many top fighters in their division get crapped on because you don't like their opposition, even though many of the times that's the cards they are dealt with.

he makes great points if u read the article
Shhh, you're not allowed to use logic around here. Reading the article would make too much sense.

Nothing wrong with Ward's response. If the members of this forum are allowed to give their uneducated opinion then surely Ward is allowed to speak his mind.

You don't have to defend GGG, anyone that doesn't respect his talent is an obvious troll. Besides, Ward is fighting Kovalev now....time to for the GGG defense league to move on.

Nailed it, most likely. There will be some kind of injury, some excuse, something will get in the way.

              ------------------------------------------------------------

IF he does what he says he'll do, fight Kov next year, then yeah we're good. But like others have said, he's taking 2-3 no-risk fights to get to that payday, which will probably be his highest yet. All that does is guarantee he won't lose a step getting to Kov, but the downside is he won't be as prepared for Kov. And he certainly isn't Hercules. I'm getting the feeling this isn't going to work out so well for him. Kov with Jackson as trainer can adapt. And Ward can be hit. Just sayin'.

Good post. Ward is a HOFer already. One of the best to ever lace them up imo. Even if he loses to Big K. But if he wins, that's serious icing on the cake, cause I think Kovalev is the real deal. May the best man win. Can't wait!

                      ... Green K sent...

The fact is that Andre Ward is very skilled at what he's doing and he reached a certain level at which he can't be improved (much)... My opinion is that Ward can box like B-Hop, like Floyd... even better than those two... On another hand, Ward doesn't hold a thunder KO punch as, for instance, Stevenson and Beterbiev have at LH...

Therefore I think that Ward knows very well that he hasn't have to take any "dangerous" opponent at LH until he would fight Kovalev -- if he ever fights him...
