    The World Boxing Council has approved a bout for the WBC interim-featherweight championship between Robinson Castellanos (21-10, 13KOs) of Mexico and Colombian contender Oscar Escandon (24-2, 16KOs).

    Escandon was scheduled to face WBC full featherweight champion Gary Russell Jr. next Saturday night in Las Vegas. The fight was called off after Russell suffered a cut and withdrew from the bout on Monday.

          Poor Robin still getting screwed & on hold again...he earned a world shot ever since he beat Caballaro more than 2 yrs ago in Panama, then beat Juarez in San Antonio......

              He'll beat Escandon and be stuck in the same situation as before and will probably have to fight in another eliminator. Its too bad, I enjoy watching the guy fight and he deserves the title shot.
