    Comments Thread For: WBC/VADA Drug Testing Program To Launch By February

    The World Boxing Council will launch their drug testing program by February of next year, according to an announcement at the WBC's 53rd Convention in Kunming, China.

    The program will be a joint effort between the WBC and VADA (Voluntary Anti Drugs Association), with the goal of cleaning up the sport and helping eradicate the use of performance enhancing drugs.

              Don't be surprised if the Haymon stable finds excuses to let this belt go or not fight for it anymore.

              Last time 2 Haymon fighters got tested by VADA, Berto and Peterson tested positive, and Haymon never allowed it again, and quickly signed a deal with USADA to do there testing instead.

                  You ****** idiots. The WBC is the only piece of **** sanctioning body that used USADA. All of Floyd's belts were from the WBC. These ****** ****s stopped using USADA after Floyd Mayweather got caught masking drugs and after he retired. **** the WBC and those fat ass Suillaman's. Mexico is one of the most corrupt places in the world. I feel sorry for the people who have to live in that place.

                    I'd love to think that it would clean up the sport but, sadly, what this really means for the sport is that more decisions will be overturned due to failed drug tests.
