Comments Thread For: Arum Calls Bull**** on Report of Pacquiao-Khan Deal

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum is furious after a report was published by veteran sports writer Jeff Powell of the Daily Mail, announced that a deal was reached between Manny Pacquiao and Amir Khan for a fight on April 9th in Las Vegas.

Khan's father, Shah, told the paper that his son agreed to the terms and the paperwork was sent to Arum, who promotes Pacquiao, last Friday.

    ...

Can anyone honestly say they are surprised by this? Khan signed an imaginary contract for a Mayweather fight. He's now signed an imaginary contract for a Pacquiao fight.

The question has to be, where is he getting these contracts?

Lol @ Arum's response. I used to hate the guy but in the past year he's beenfunny as hell. I think he stopped caring to a great extent.

Team Khan always leaks ponies to the press. That strategy failed with Mayweather. If you can't negotiate confidentially then you won't get the big fights. This doesn't look good for Khan unless he is trying to low ball someone. We know he is a liar because he always says Conflicting things.

I just find the mental imagery of Bob sitting at his desk slowly begin to fume more and more as his phone refuses to stop ringing to be hilarious.
