  • Retired Boxers That Still Spar/Train

Watched a very recent interview. IDK if he's still training, but they interviewed him in the gym and he looked to be in shape.

I read that Larry Holmes continued sparring until he was 50 despite being a retired man. Floyd was supposedly still training in his first retirement.

I didn't train for the first year after retirement, but then i got drawn back into sparring after being caught in an embarrassing position with an over ripe water melon.

I think Kostya T is still involved, as a trainer or gym owner or some **** like that and stays active.

Larry Holmes had his last fight around 50, wasnt it butter bean?

Oh and Chavez Sr was on some of the pre fight build ups for his son, hes in great shape for his age, hes obviously training a bit.

Floyd was never out the gym when he first retired. The man trains religiously fightng or not fighting,it's his escape.Like how we average men like to have a beer,Mayweather goes training.Whether we like him or not,the man is a tremendously hardworker.

Now for the issue.Mayweather has apparently got this legendary work ethic and god like stamina, right? He even looks great for a man of nearly 40,never lost a muscle.

John Scully (he's on here sometimes) spars quite a bit with his guys.

Larry Holmes last fight was at the age of 51 (three months and a week before turning 52)
