World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman say a battle between WBC super middleweight champion Badou Jack (20-1-1, 12KOs) and Mexican star Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (49-2-1, 32KOs) is very possible to happen in 2016.

Jack flew over to China to attend the WBC's ongoing annual convention and Chavez's father, Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. is also present.

... In fact it was Chavez Sr who said that his son would take this fight... Which isn't that good -- we should remember Jr spinning off his father each time he didn't like Sr's opinions on his career paths.

Good fight for Jack. And idk if I'd agree its a bad fight for Chavez like I'm sure many will say. Rather see Jack vs Degale, but if Jack (or Degale) could get Chavez first I'm sure either would rather go for that cuz $$$ & hopes of gaining fans via the Genghis Khan method (assuming Chavez didn't lose more than I think after the Fonfara fight).

not an expert, but badou jack sucks balls. i don't care how bad chavez is, he beats the hell out of this young chav. you know who else sucks, peter quillen and errol spence. spence is over rated to. that south african did a lot of work that wasn't mentioned by the tools announcing the fight.

All respect to Badou Jack who has been looking great lately but Chavez Jr doesn't deserve that shot and hasn't convinced me he is ready for another serious fight.
