If Golovduck thinks he can force Ward to 164 because he's the bigger draw...

...then Golovduck will absolutely have to come down in weight to fight Cotto or Canelo. Both of those guys are PPV stars, Cotto has been the biggest cash cow in boxing over the past decade behind Floyd and Pac. Canelo was a part of the biggest fight in PPV history. Golovkunt's numbers for his PPV fight were horrible, and when the numbers come out for Cotto-Canelo, he's gonna look even worse. That hype job is definitely coming down in weight and he has no ***in choice.

Your reasoning just went 100 miles above the heads of the Bumlovstans. It's AMAZING how they can stand behind their hero's demand for the 164 catch weight for Ward but NOT do the same for Cotto/Canelo. Hypocrisy at its finest...

Crazy how some people are so delusional that they actually agree with this sarcastic remark.

Mando has legal standing. They almost went bankrupt once getting sued for improper strippage. Why do you think Cotto had to pay a step aside fee to Ggg?

Golovkunt will get his mando but it will be at 158 at most.

Why do you people have so much trouble understanding this?
Golovkin is mandatory challenger for the WBC MIDDLEWEIGHT title.
                  The MIDDLEWEIGHT limit is 160lbs.
There are no catchweights in title fights unless BOTH fighters agree to it.

That means Golovkin would have to agree to a catchweight. If not, then Canelo will have to fight at the MW limit(he can weigh whatever he wants to at/under 160lbs) or he will be stripped of that WBC MIDDLEWEIGHT title.

Mr A side power moves could probably pay some money for his precious catchweight, but I'd say it would have to be a small fortune.
