"There shall be a second day weigh-in on the morning of the event. The promoter of the event shall arrange for the use of the scale at the prearranged time and location for the second day weigh-in. At this weigh-in, boxers cannot weigh more than ten (10) pounds
over the weight limit. If a boxer weighs more than ten (10) pounds over the weight limit, vhe will have two (2) hours thereafter to make the prescribed weight. If after two (2) hours he still weighs more than ten (10) pounds over the weight limit, the fight cannot
proceed as a championship bout. If the Champion fails to appear for the second day weigh-in, the title will be vacated. If the Challenger fails to appear for the second day weigh-in, the fight may be staged with the understanding that the Champion shall retain his title whether he wins or loses the bout."
My entire ****ing argument was that Canelo can't put on that much more weight and still be considered a MW.
The same day rule for GGG IBF belt clearly states this.
And no ****, Canelo can add more weight after the morning weigh in, but the entire process is too keep guys from coming in too heavy.
So ****ing ******* like Canelo can't come in at 190 and say they are still MW.
Canelo comes into fight at 170, but says he isn't a ****ing MW.

and there is a reason the ibf does those weigh ins in the morning, by fight night the boxer can easily enter the ring more than 10% above the limit and there is nothing the ibf can do about it, morning weigh ins wont stop you from rehydrating the rest of the day...
again , you are making your self look like a total newbie on this topic...
No one said rehydration limit until fight day ******.
The 30 day weigh in and 7 day weigh in make sure you are not too heavy.
Which is what it ****ing says.
The same day weigh in is to make sure the fighter is not coming in too heavy.
How ****ing hard is that to understand.
Just last week you act like these weigh in didn't exist.
Come on!

Could you just write all this in one comment.
No one called it a 30 day rehydration limit.
It's a 30 day out weigh in to make sure you are within a specific set of guidelines.
It's the same with the 7 day.
The same day is to make sure you are not ten pounds over.
Did you even bother to read the ****ing rules.
Canelo came in at 168 thirty days out from this Cotto fight.
GGG came in 3 pounds lighter.
Canelo Rehydrates to 172-175
GGG Rehydrates to 172
If Canelo isn't a MW now, then when does he become one.
As I asked before, if he puts on too much more weight, he would be approaching being over the same day weigh guidelines of ten pounds.
You act like this is hard to understand.Last edited by Progrssive_Jedi; 11-04-2015, 03:31 PM.

Mother ****ers will do whatever they can to distract from the question at hand.
How much more weight does Canelo need to have to consider himself a MW.
If he is already fighting at 155 (MW).
And he Rehydrates up to 175.
So is it 5, 10, 15 more pounds.
Does Canelo need to come into the ring at 185 before he considers himself a MW.
And if that's the case, then will he make the IBF morning weigh in against GGG.
Because anything over 180, is not ok.
You ****s can spin all you want. The rule is the rule.
Canelo has long been a MW.
He is scared of GGG. Period.

Writing a War and Peace equivalent amount of words filled with hopes , wishes , fanboyism and blatant lies. Congratulations on picking up the baton Barcham dropped as the biggest GGG. d.ickrider on this site . Well Done

Steward molded his game to ensure that he fights to his strengths while not taking any risks or offering any opportunities.
Nothing wrong with that.
But a lot of folks prefer a more aggressive devastating HW champ..... considering Wlad's dominance, and considering the state of the current heavyweight division..... a lot of folks find him a little boring.
Kinda similar to Mayweather.
I'm with you..... I see him for what he is, but I appreciate him.

And who is the dumb **** who less than two days ago claimed their were no 30-day weigh in, or 7-day weigh in.
Now he's the expert.
All I've stated is there is an IBF rule that limits the fighter to 10 pounds above contracted weight.
There shall be a second day weigh-in on the morning of the event. The promoter of the
event shall arrange for the use of the scale at the prearranged time and location for the
second day weigh-in. At this weigh-in, boxers cannot weigh more than ten (10) pounds
over the weight limit. If a boxer weighs more than ten (10) pounds over the weight limit,

his title whether he wins or loses the bout'
