Comments Thread For: Lebedev: Dropping Sauerland Was Marco Huck's Downfall

WBA cruiserweight champion Denis Lebedev (27-2, 20KOs) was not surprised that longtime WBO cruiserweight king Marco Huck (38-3-1, 26KOs) was knocked out Polish puncher Krzysztof Glowacki in August.

Lebdev lost a controversial twelve round split decision to Huck in 2010. A rematch never took place between the two boxers.

No, his downfall was not putting away Glowacki when he had him hurt in their August fight.

How?? It was a great performance imo. I am now a fan of Huck because of that fight. He just needs to tighten up his defense

There is some truth to what Lebedev is saying. Sauerland is the best in the business at protecting its fighters and Huck has gotten the benefit of the doubt on several close calls at home, including the Lebedev fight, which I thought he lost.
