Good fight but it's shameful how they're fighting for the a title neither of them wanted to rip off Rigo.
If they don't wanna fight Rigo whatever, but it's sad how they're fighting for his title.Comment

I'm not even sure if Quigg's belt is going to be on the line.
Frampton keeps saying that the IBF won't sanction it as a unification and that he doesn't want the title anyway lolComment

Frampton to thoroughly out-class him.
More skilled, better footwork, better speed, more adaptable. He's just the better fighter.Comment

It is on the line.
Rigondeaux has been demoted to Champion in Recess, Quigg is now their main Champ (although I don't know if he's the Super champ). The winner is supposedly mandated to fight Rigo in May.
The Sky and Matchroom pressers both say it's a unification fight and it's probably what's been holding up the announcement for the past couple of weeks.Comment

Quigg KO for me, just really see huge improvements every time I watch him fight and just seems the fresher and hungrier fighter. Also think he is stronger at the weight.
Probably a year ago I would have fancied Frampton, but will be a great fight whatever the result!Comment

I didn't know Quigg had been promoted to full champion. ChristIt is on the line.

Boxing fans will be very happy. I doubt many casual fans or non-followers have really heard of either guy. So it's not on the level of Khan v Brook where it's going to cross over into the mainstream and become a huge event that people who don't follow the sport will tune in to. It's not that level....
But it will still sell a 20,000 venue i'd imagine. No doubt they will stack the undercard too with the likes of Crolla possibly, who will pull in a good local following, maybe Martin Murray too, he's pretty local and is now with Hearn.Comment
