    Mayweather Champion Emertius?

I guess this answers all I'll questions Mayweather will be coming back for the right fight! I was wondering why he had not relinquish his belts yet and it dawn on me dah! He obviously has reservations to fight again. I'm not the sharpest knife in the draw so I had to look up Emertius up: For the others not so smart people like me it Means a title given to one who has retired such as professor, pastor, or bishop. I quess mayweather would be a professor but the second part is what really hit the nail on the head. In some cases the term is conferred automatically upon all persons who retire at a given rank, but in others it remains a mark of distinguished service, awarded to only a few on retirement. It is also used when a person of distinction in a profession retires or hands over the position, enabling their erstwhile rank to be retained in their title. The term Emeritus does not necessarily signify that a person has relinquished all the duties of their erstwhile position and they may continue to exercise some of them. Bingo Mayweather will fight again prolly against the winner of Cotto vs Canelo

I think you are right. Sounds like both want that big payday before they meet GGG. Sounds like Cotto in particular wants no part of Golovkin.

Where's the interest in Mayweather vs Canelo II or Mayweather vs Cotto II when he's already defeated both of them (especially the former, since Canelo was particularly schooled by Floyd)? I suppose you could say the same about a rematch with Pacquaio, but a possible exception can be made there, since a rematch would still arguably be the biggest money match in boxing right now.

I'd personally be down for seeing Mayweather vs GGG, even though we know there's an extreme likelihood of that never happening.

I don't think he will fight the winner. He said he is retired. The winner will be Canelo in my opinion. He wouldn't fight Canelo at even an ounce over 152 when Canelo was green and Mayweather was younger. I seriously doubt he would agree to fight a more experienced Canelo at 155 and Canelo would not go lower than 155 this time. I believe he will stay retired. He is ****** rich and he has his stable of boxers to keep him busy.
