People must be misinformed. Why are people acting as if Ward was ready and willing to face GGG this year? The offer was 3 tuneups and a showdown with GGG sometimes late next year. How does that equate to GGG avoid Ward who by the way is now a LHW?

When did Crawford fight those guys? Maybe you should read the comment I was replying to before replying to me with snark.

Also are you really trying to compare ggg's resume with Ward's; You should be ashamed of yourself.

Shh this doesn't fit the anti-GGG agenda.

All the haters are willing to consider is the fact that Loeffler turned down the fight. No other context matters.

Whatever the proposed deal was, Team Golovkin flat out rejected it and refused to negotiate the terms. They said "maybe sometime in 2017"

Whereas Kovalev, a real fighter, has seemingly hashed out a similar deal with Ward.

Has nothing to do with boxing, Crawford's opinion is as good or less than the people on this forum who have been following these talks.

I thought it was just one tune-up, when did it become three? (and I mean this for Golovkin not kovalev)

This is the result of the media not doing anything about it. It all started with one member asking GG what he thinks about Ward. Next day it's all over the news, "GG is calling out Ward!" Things spiraled out of control since. Fast forward we found out that HBO actually made an offer to both GG and Ward, who turned it down.

Paul Smith , Alexander Brand and Kovalev coming soon to a PPV outlet near u in 2016 .

Wards mettle is not in question , gggs is .

Unless of course your one of these guys that despite all online boxing sites stating the 3 fight deal that includes Kovalev is done , its more convenient for u to deny it will happen because it makes Ward appear cowardly , which since GGG has already proven He's cowardly , u gotta smear Ward in the same way to protect ggg ?
