Golovkin Doesn't Need To Write Cotto's Story; Canelo Will When He Stops Cotto!
"I am not a full middleweight"... Great, that's your problem Cotto. You were the one who hand picked a shot, injury prone, washed up, 40 year old Sergio Martinez as your weak link to a 160 Belt. Now you and Canelo's azz' are puckered so tight in fear of GGG, you couldn't **** a pumpkin seed!!! That's fine. Number one, Cotto doesn't get past Canelo anyway. Two, the winner can sit at home and answer the question from fans & media the rest of your career why you wouldn't man up and defend your cheap 160 belt at 160. Enjoy that path, weasels. Lol.Comment

They both have said he has to come down. If he's not willing, no fight, they know it-ggg's team knows it-the fans know it.
And Ward would've definitely been a PPV fight and his highest grossing to date. If ggg won he would be consensus p4p #1 and a known name. They left Ward behind with their A-side talk, and CWs now who will ggg fight?Comment

I have a feeling that, when contrasted with the wealth and security Cotto's been able to provide to his family, criticism from strangers won't mean a whole lot to him."I am not a full middleweight"... History will be kinder to him than you are. Just wait and see.Comment

i just think is funny how many ppl say cotto cherry picked this tittle he currently holds yet everyone was wanting to see GGG fight Martinez before cotto fought him ( i guess GGG would have been called a god if he beat martinez) but since it was cotto they say "oh it had to be his knees and he's shot " . its comical how the double standards work, and if cotto doest want to fight GGG thats his business he should be going after the money at this point in his career since he never ducked anyone in his prime ...Comment

You're entirely right about boxing being the bigger culprit here. The men who run boxing don't care about anything but money and Cotto is simply taking advantage of the fact that fans, so far, are tolerating the diva bull****. Floyd's success has changed this sport, and not for the better as far as fans are concerned. In the future, we will see dozens and dozens of undefeated "world champions" campaigning in the same weight classes who never get around to fighting each other. They will be considered great by their fans (and even by the so-called experts of the day), but it will be nothing but an illusion. Of course its smart business to manage a career this way, but real fans know that this is killing the sport. Every generation wants to crown their best fighter as the greatest who ever lived, but, give us a break, the sport is not the same as it once was. Contemporary fighters may well be better athletes (on average) than the greats of the past, but are they really as good? We will probably never know because they won't be challenged in the same way and fans such as yourself will always be there to make excuses for them. Its 'boxing' that creates the problem, not Cotto.
Cotto has a wife and children, he needs to do whats best for them. If you were his fan before then you should still be now because he is fighting one of the best fighters in the world who is naturally bigger than him. That deserves respect.
However if this was a real sport Cotto would not be able to call himself champion without defending against the best fighter at the weight every now and again.
Imagine if Germany just didnt turn up to the next World Cup and decided to declare that they were still champions? Makes no sense. In boxing this is common.Last edited by NachoMan; 11-02-2015, 11:17 AM.Comment

GGG is "unproven"?
That has to be one of the dumbest things you have ever said, and believe me thats no easy achievement.
But if by "unproven", you mean he hasnt had his face bashed in by Pac, got on his knees vs Marg, or got completely outclassed by Floyd or Trout, then yes you are right lolComment

You are kidding right? Loooferr has constantly said he would not allow GGG to face Ward at 168. He has batted those question down with so many excuses it not funny.Wrong. Golovkin did not have any chances against champions of different classes. He has challenged them all, but none of them took the fight for one reason or another.
Quillin got his ass handed to him by GGG in sparring and has publicly stated he'll only fight Golovkin for Pac-level money. That's besides Quillin being protected by Haymon.
As for Ward, he was the one who failed to make the fight by requesting tune ups.
All of this is public information - look it up.
Here is my proof and you should do more research before acting on your own. "It would’ve been a bad deal to take," Loeffler said.
It's Able Sanchez like always blowing smoke in peoples eyes. Sanchez is like GGGs hype man.
Ducking at its maximum! And I gave you proofComment
