He is fighting Porter early next year according to Porter's dad. He said he heard straight from the all mighty Haymon that the fight is on and he is already in training for Thurman. Whoever wins that fight will have a lot of prestige and respect at 147. It's about time Haymon matches the many high ranked welterweights he manages into each other.

Thurman usually does a lot of interviews when he goes to big fights, he hasn't been to any since the Mayweather fight and he's not really active on social media.
The Porter fight is pretty much official, there's nothing for him to say...
I hope that fight happens! I like Thurman and Porter. Don't want to see either of them lose but it's important for the top guys in the division to fight.
