I think Errol would have the beating of him right now, Thurman looks like a type of guy who could be KOed and I think Errol could be the guy to do that.
Spence wins by KO. He sets up the KO ending with his vicious body attack. Remember how badly mediocre Collazo hurt Thurman to the body. Spence is ten times the body puncher Collazo is. His body blows are very fast, accurate and powerful. Thurman is good but Spence is better in my opinion. Spence has yet to beat a top welterweight but he will beat them when he fights them.
Spence is still a bit green and people are unwisely translating what they've seen him do to low end competition to a guy like Thurman. I'm no Thurman fan but I haven't seen anything that leads me to believe that Spence is necessarily a threat at this point.

My thoughts exactly, people are going to start thinking I am a Spence hater, and I am not, sometimes people don't like hearing the truth. You have to see how he fares up in level, theoretically he holds advantages over someone like Thurman, but what if he does not react well at all to Thurmans combination of attributes, especially that vaunted power? Thurman has already hurt and knocked out guys who have proven heart and chins at an elite level. Boxing is not like tennis where you can have an ok serve and an ok backhand and still win grand slams, if you have an important ***** in your armour you are just going to struggle at those higher levels. Spence has a style which requires him to be extremely strong and domineering in the ring, which means he will have to have certain attributes to go all the way, he has YET to prove those attributes against this level of guys so all bets are off.
I like Spence, but I'd have to see him get hit before I can make a judgement on this matchup. Thurman looked just as invincible before he stepped up the competition level consistently. As we found out, he has all the tools but doesn't like getting touched and it changes his momentum completely. Spence could have similar or more weaknesses.

Yea, I have nothing against Spence at all but he's definitely getting the flavor of the month treatment. Keith is under the microscope right now so everyone is extra critical. Typical NSB games.
