Anyone else hear the rumor that Frankie the reason Cotto's face was all bruised up last week during a promotional appearance in LA. Supposedly Frankie been sparring with Cotto prepping him for the Canelo fight. Anyhow if true Frankie might be a better prospect than I thought

That seems to be the story. Its sparring doe. I've been a Gomez fan since he was a top US amateur, but idk that I can get more hyped for Gomez over sparring after all the recent layoffs & issues. Never been a doubt he's a talented fighter, problem seems to be all the in between **** & keeping his focus. -
I don't think it was a sparring issue. Miguel wanted to keep it real and told Frankie that he is too fat. Frankie then punched him until Roach stepped in and said to Frankie 'Don't do it, you should be a champion already'.Comment
