Last week I heardof minor progress and hand responses (don't know if they meant neurological or what). I got the impression that there's been minor progress. Definitely not out of the woods.

I think this is already a huge L for Colon's family & there isn't likely to be good news or have much of a "life comeback" cuz the damage was so great. I don't recall anyone going through what he's been through & having what I'd deem a normal life afterwards.

Personally if I was gonna be in McClellan or Magomed shape I think I'd rather just be dead & the really f#cked up thing with those two guys is I suspect if they could view themselves with their previous self's eyes they wouldn't wanna be what they've become. Highly f#cked up thing to discuss, but I think its true.

A few days ago his family said he'll be tansferred to a specialized hospital for brain surgery patients in Atlanta.

Honestly, people are making a big deal out of him breathing on his own but I just lost a friend that was on a coma after surgery complications and after showing signs of recovery, he was breathing on his own and all his organs were working, his brain never registered any activity and he never woke up. It doesn't look good but miracles happen so we've got to keep our hopes up.

Yea, yesterday it was announced that he's being moved to rehab, though he's still being kept in a coma. It's positive news, however small the progress may be...

                COMPLETELY DEVASTATING

this guy had TBI.. traumatic brain injury

some part in his brain started gushing blood inside his skull and started pushing down on his brain. doctors have to open your skull ASAP to operate and keep you alive when this happens

that night is most definitely the last we saw of that boy showing life as we knew him

coma can take 4-8 weeks and the longer hes under the more severe and irreparable the damage will be... its possible to not even wake up at all

sometimes the injury is so deep on one side of the brain that theres complete paralysis on one side of the body, problems with speech, memory, movement, recognition, everything

i feel for this guy and his family, so sad
