  • Will Adonis Stevenson lose vs. any of these upcoming opponents?

I see 4 viable Haymon LHWs that Stevenson will likely have to fight in 2016. Ranked from best to worst chances of beating Stevenson IMO:
    1) Artur Beterbiev #6 BoxRec LHW
    2) Andrzej Fonfara #3 BoxRec LHW
    3) Eleider Alvarez #4 BoxRec LHW
    4) Edwin Rodriguez #13 BoxRec LHW

I see one of these guys dethroning Stevenson in 2016.

Beterbiev might be a 50/50 fight, or 60/40 in Stevenson's favor. He's the only one of the bunch I give a real chance. Fonfara maybe 20%.

Kovalev would be a 75/25 favorite over Stevenson imo.

Beterbiev & Stevenson are both GYM/Haymon fighters, how likely are they to be put in together? They will be on the same cards vs different opponents.

The other's are simply not that good.

He's already 38 years old, the end of his chapter is coming soon.
Lucky for him LHW is not the strongest right now, he still will deal with most of the contenders.

No. I'd pick Stevenson over all of them.

He's only getting older and he's not exactly a great fighter. It wouldn't be surprising if he steps in the ring soon with someone he should beat and loses.

I think Beterbiev would put him to sleep. Sounds like GYM has no interest in that doe.

I'd give Fonfara a small chance of an upset a 2nd time around, but I'd pick Stevenson.

Rodriguez shouldn't have a chance in hell.

And I've not seen Alvarez or can't recall him for some reason if I have seen him to speculate on his chances.
