And lets not forget imam got up and knocked Maldonado down 3 times in that same exact around, and ended up knocking Maldonado out.

It's like clowns who still hold onto Floyd having a tough fight with Castillo, that **** is pathetic, hit the bricks with that bs.
The fact that he got knocked down by that level of a fighter says a lot. Of course he knocked him out. that was the whole point of that match up. What does Floyd have to do with anything I just said?

Imam is a true prize fighter. He wants the real top dogs and wants a legacy, he won't be another back fighter who fights nothing but cans on dumpy PBC cards.
I was not dogging on Imam, I know he can fight. I thought he was a Haymon fighter. He makes his stars fight immigrants.

So what if he got dropped? Do you know how many elite fighters have been dropped by low level opponents in their careers? It happens to most young fighters coming up. It's a part of boxing, not a big deal.

Your going to see a lot of fighters run from this division because of Imam. doesn't matter though, he will chase them to 147 where he probably will be even stronger and more dangerous.

The good thing about Imam is he can fight guys from the HBO and Haymon side (for now anyway). If he beats Postol, I'd start to see him spark Crawford then move up to 147. Fights against Thurman, Spence, Brook, Porter, Danny etc would be mouthwatering.

Imam is a special talent. It's not often you see such a tall guy who can fight well on the inside and throw such sharp, short punches. He's gonna be very hard to beat. He's very versatile, he can box your head off or mix it up in the pocket.

Ya I think he beats Crawford. He's too big and strong for him. Crawford leaves his chin out a lot, and Imam is as accurate with power as it gets at 140.

It looks inevitable that he ends up with Haymon but who knows. Wherever the Postol fight ends up could play a big part in where Imam is for fhe next few years.

Amir Imam is gonna be avoided like the plague..

The guy is the real deal, but he is with don king I believe, and will have no political clout to land a major fight...

He will be the best 140 guy in the world besides crawford, but will never get a crack until another 2-3 years at best....

I don't think Crawford is that good. We've seen him get outclassed by a 5'5 blown up feathweight and C level Dulorme was outboxing him as well. He's not a bad fighter but he's nowhere near as good as the hype suggests. I think Imam would knock him out.

Postol is a harder fight for Imam, that boy can box and he's got a good engine, he doesn't stop throwing.

Yeah I was hoping mattysse was going to win and that Imam would get him.

Postol is very tough fight for imam, very easily could be toughest opponent for Imam in the division.

Kind of reminds me of when no one wanted to fight Paul Williams or Margarito, so they just fight each other.
