Most cuban boxer could adapt easily to Pros if they turned pro at a early age let's say like from 20-25...that's the problem they are to old when They turn Pro to change their olympic style of fighting. I'm sure if Rigondeaux turned pro at 20-25 he would be a better fighter with a better record than today...I hope you understand thisComment

I totally understand, but its more than the fighter, they would and should go with better trainers as well. Say if they turn pro early and stick with the Cuban style/trainers..they wont really make it far. They have to go with a seasoned vet a pro trainer not an Olympic style trainer, which would most likely be an trainer from the USA.Most cuban boxer could adapt easily to pro if they turned pro at a early age let's say like from 20-25...that's the problem they are to old when. Not a good comparison my friend. None of these aforementioned fighter's you just described were raised in the "Cuban " system of fighting where there are literally camps in Cuba to polish their style of fighting which is almost just exclusively for the Olympics and thus amateur when competing in the elite. What do Muhammad Ali,Sugar Ray Leonard,Oscar De la Hoya,Roy Jones,Floyd Mayweather,Lomachenko,Klitchsko,Rigondeaux,Golovki n all have in commen they are all Olympic Medalist.
All olympic Medalist might not be great in the Pros but majority of Elite fighters have some type prestige at amateur level.
Mind you, Cubans are phenom's in the Olympics/amateur ranks but it almost as if they are giving off the impression that that's all they are good for boxing wise.
In other words, their training is just an amateur approach to fighting even when competing in the professional level.Last edited by jri9d0; 10-30-2015, 12:35 PM.Comment

Definitely would do really well. I think the P4P rankings would have 2+ Cubans at any given time if Cubans had a clear road to turning pro.Comment
