    The junior lightweight title fight between Takashi Miura and Francisco Vargas will have Tony Weeks as its referee.

    Weeks was unanimously approved at the Thursday meeting of the Nevada Athletic Commission. Miura vs. Vargas is scheduled for Nov. 21 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino on the undercard of the Miguel-Cotto vs. Canelo Alvarez pay-per-view.

      one has to be a little concerned about the judges going into any fight, but this matchup is a thing of beauty. love both guys, but feel that Vargas will get every advantage on the cards considering it's a Golden Boy event.
